Steam’s current pre-release table lists 16 GB RAM and 30 GB of available storage for both tiers. Its minimum note targets 1080p/60 fps using TSR at 71% or DLSS Ultra Performance, while the recommended note targets 1080p/60 fps using TSR at 100% High or DLSS Balanced. These are storefront targets, not independent launch-build benchmarks or a guarantee for every map and full server.
This page uses the requirements published on the official Steam store. We do not ask you to download a hardware-scanning executable.

The short answer
Your PC meets the current minimum specification if it has:
- a 64-bit Windows 10 installation;
- an Intel Core i5-10600K, AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or a comparable processor;
- an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super, AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT or a comparable graphics card;
- 16 GB RAM;
- at least 30 GB of free storage;
- DirectX 12 and a broadband connection.
Meeting that list means your hardware is in the range the developer currently associates with a 1080p/60 target. It does not prove that the game will hold 60 fps in every scene. Server load, map conditions, background software, drivers, memory configuration and the final launch build can all affect the result.
What the recommended specification means
The recommended tier keeps the published target at 1080p/60 fps rather than raising it to 1440p. It lists Windows 11, an i5-12600K or Ryzen 5 7600X, and an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6900 XT.
Steam attaches TSR 100% High or DLSS Balanced to this tier. Do not convert this storefront note into an “ultra settings” claim or an independent benchmark.
We will not assign exact performance to unlisted GPUs or CPUs before we have reproducible launch-build tests. A third-party comparison can tell you that two components occupy a similar product tier, but only a controlled game test can show how HLLV behaves in a full match.
Is 30 GB enough?
Steam currently lists 30 GB of available space for both tiers. Keep additional free space for installation overhead, shader caches, recordings and future updates.
The official requirements do not currently say that an SSD is mandatory. An SSD is still the sensible installation location for a modern large-map game, but that is editorial setup advice—not an official requirement. We will update this section if Team17 or Expression Games publishes a storage-specific recommendation.
Does the game need a fast internet connection?
The official requirement says “broadband internet connection” without publishing a minimum download speed or latency target.
For a 50v50 tactical game, connection quality matters in ways a headline download speed cannot fully describe. Packet loss, unstable Wi-Fi and long distance to the server may hurt the experience even when a speed test looks fast. Before changing graphics settings, check whether the problem appears to be:
- low or unstable frame rate;
- delayed input or visual stutter;
- high ping;
- packet loss;
- server-side hitching affecting multiple players.
Those are different problems and need different tests.
How to check your PC without installing a “checker”
1. Find your CPU and memory
Open Windows Settings, go to System → About, and record the processor and installed RAM.
Steam currently lists 16 GB RAM for both tiers. Check the store page again near launch in case the table changes.
2. Find your GPU
Open Task Manager, choose Performance, then select GPU. Record the full model name and dedicated GPU memory.
3. Check Windows and free storage
Confirm that Windows is 64-bit. In Settings → System → Storage, verify that the intended drive has at least 30 GB free, plus practical headroom for installation and updates.
4. Compare exact model names
Compare your components with the official minimum and recommended entries. Be careful with laptop GPUs: a mobile GPU and a desktop GPU with a similar name may perform differently.
5. Use the launch build as the final test
If your PC sits close to the minimum tier, wait for launch-day testing and the storefront refund rules that apply in your region before making a decision based on an unofficial FPS estimate.
What if your PC is below the minimum?
Lowering resolution and graphics settings can reduce GPU load, but it cannot reliably compensate for every CPU, memory or engine bottleneck. Do not buy an upgrade based on one beta report or one anonymous hardware list.
Use this order:
- verify the official requirements have not changed;
- identify whether your CPU or GPU falls below the listed tier;
- wait for launch-build benchmarks using comparable hardware;
- compare performance across a full multiplayer match, not only a quiet tutorial;
- upgrade only when the limiting component is supported by repeatable evidence.
What if your PC meets recommended but performance is poor?
First separate hardware eligibility from a settings or launch issue. A PC can meet the recommended specification and still encounter a driver problem, shader compilation, an unstable setting, a server issue or a game bug.
