Current data collection
The site does not run affiliate tracking or email subscriptions. Google Analytics 4 runs only after a visitor selects “Allow analytics.” For those visits, it measures page views, guide reading progress reaching 50%, and clicks between Game Field Guide guides. The events use page paths and link-location categories; the site does not intentionally send names, email addresses, account identifiers, or free-text search values. Google may process device, browser, and usage information under its published privacy terms. Before consent, the Google Analytics library is not loaded.
Why logs exist
Technical logs are used to secure the service, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse. They are not sold. Retention is limited to what is operationally necessary.
Email communications
If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to provide. We use it to answer the request, maintain an appropriate editorial or legal record, and prevent abuse. Do not send passwords, payment information, or unnecessary sensitive data.
Analytics choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time with the “Analytics settings” control. Before consent, the Google Analytics library is not loaded. If you later reject analytics, the site updates Google consent to denied and stops sending guide-interaction events. The consent choice is stored in local storage in this browser until you clear site data.

Optional Adsterra advertising
On pages with an advertising placement, we load one Adsterra banner only after you select “Allow advertising.” Advertising consent is separate from analytics consent; rejecting advertising does not limit access to our guides. After consent, requests to Adsterra and its advertising partners may include your IP address, browser and device information, referring-site information, and ad interactions. These providers may use cookies or similar storage to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. See Adsterra’s privacy policy for its processing and rights information. We do not activate Google AdSense or affiliate tracking through this choice.
Advertising choices and withdrawal
Use “Advertising settings” to change your choice or select “Withdraw advertising consent.” Withdrawal removes the current banner and prevents further banner loads from this site until you allow advertising again. It cannot recall requests already sent or erase information already held by third parties. To remove existing cookies, use your browser’s cookie and site-data controls; contact the provider for applicable data requests. We store your advertising choice in this browser’s local storage under gfg_advertising_consent_v1 for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current visit. Clearing site data resets the choice.
